3700 Grafts Result of FUE Technique Hair Transplant

The patient had lost the frontal and mid frontal zone of the head. At the frontal, he has mature hair loss and at mid frontal and at the crown area he has diffused hair loss. The hair loss was uneven which was taking the form of patches. Patient Mr. Dayal from Abohar came to our Hair Max Hair Transplant clinic for consulting and exploring all the options to get rid of his hair loss or baldness in Ludhiana (Punjab) in India. He has baldness which can be classified as Norwood class 4a. After examining his baldness our doctor suggested 3700 grafts by FUE hair transplant technique. FUE has many advantages over strip technique (FUT), so there would be less pain and no linear scar in the donor area. FUE removes the fear of scalpel, numbness, and pain after the procedure as in FUT. Hair at the back of the head donor area was enough to extract the required number of grafts to cover the recipient area. On the day of procedure he met our team prepared in the morning as was informed him before, including heavy breakfast. There was a need for over 3700 grafts by the FUE method as planned during his consultation. We take donor grafts from only the permanent zone of donor area evenly. We don’t over harvest the donor area. Even we don’t harvest grafts from non-permanent zone like hair at ear burn, crown area and at vertex point. We offer huge value for grafts at the non-permanent zone in the donor area. Hair fall starts at non-permanent zone only when hair roots become weak and they grow slow that is too in miniature size. Weak hair doesn’t make a good donor. Hair falls within few years or may not grow when these hair grafts used as donor grafts. Our surgeon along with the team members critically analyze the donor area that is permanent zone and the non-permanent zone at the time of consultation and then plan the whole procedure.
As soon the local anesthesia starts its effect our team under the doctor starts extracting grafts. In this case all the required grafts were extracted in nearly 4 and half hours. All recipients’ site slits or punctures were also carried out by our team of our doctor. After the completion of the first phase, the last and the final part of the procedure the grafts insertion or placing were performed by the hair transplant team under the supervision of our doctor.
